Dear Parents,
The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington is proud to be one of five communities across the country selected by the Jim Joseph Foundation for a grant for emergency Jewish education assistance. We are fortunate to receive 60% of what we received in each of the past two years. In response to the significant increase in requests for financial assistance for Jewish preschools, the Federation has established a central scholarship fund for families enrolled in local Jewish preschools.
At the bottom of this page you will find two important documents. The first is a letter of instruction to assist you in the overall scholarship application process. The second is the official JFGW Preschool Scholarship Application. This application must be filled out by each family seeking preschool scholarship funding and mailed directly to Private School Aid Service, the outside firm that Federation has contracted with to assess financial need, at P.O. Box 770728, Lakewood, OH, 44107.
