Petting Zoo visited our Camp this Friday!
The final week of Camp was fantastic and it is very sad to see camp come to an end.
The theme of the week was animals. The campers created lovely animal masks and baked animal crackers. Finally, to end off the week, the petting zoo visited camp and the kids had a great time petting the animals. Additionally, we had an end of summer water balloon fight and we celebrated Noa's birthday!
During this last week of camp, the older kids in Bunk Butterfly went to the pool on Monday and Wednesday and had an amazing time in the water. All the kids went in the bigger pool! On Tuesday and Thursday we played soccer and had skating lessons. During skating lessons the kids played hockey, a special treat for their hard-work over the summer learning how to skate.
What a great week of camp, and what a great summer! We enjoyed getting to know all of your kids and had a great time with them. They are all wonderful and extremely cute.
Enjoy the rest of the summer,
Saadia, Eliana, and CITs; Abby, Abby, Eli, and Eitan

Bunk ButterflyThe fourth week of Camp was very hot as the rain finally stopped. Luckily, the older kids in Bunk Butterfly went to the pool on Monday and Wednesday and had an amazing time in the cool water. On Tuesday and Thursday they had soccer and skating lessons. Special shout outs to the four campers that went on the big ice rink this week: Jesse, Yedidya, Scarlett, and Ido. The theme of the week was discovering nature. The campers painted beautiful pieces depicting their unique views of nature. Finally, to end off the week, the kids had a great time on the trip to the Nature center and where able to discover the nature we had discussed all week as they went on a wonderful water hike. What a great week of camp! Next weeks theme is animals. It is our last week of camp - let's make it great!

What a fun week in the Toddler Bunk! The Toddlers enjoyed water play, art projects, and singing songs. They loved to play at the sand table and the water table and especially to eat popsicles in the hot, hot weather. Make some fun, healthy popsicles at home out of juice in small cups with popsicle sticks - it's a great way to beat the heat while still playing a little outside. This week the Toddlers had fun making a cake, and even more fun eating it! Looking forward to our next and last week of camp!
Have a wonderful Shabbat,

Fourth of July Baking=)
The third week of Camp was quite action-packed. Although it rained a lot, the kids still got to participate in all the activities originally scheduled. In fact, the rain was quite fitting for the theme of the week, planting. The older kids in Bunk Butterfly went to the pool and and had an amazing time in the water. and Thursday they had soccer and skating lessons. There has been clear improvement by all the campers throughout the first half of camp. , the campers got to see the performance of Peter Pan at Imagination Stage, where they enjoyed the musical aspect as well as the acting. Finally, to end off the week, the kids had a great time on the trip to the Playseum. We couldn't go to the BrickFarm Field Trip because of he heavy flood - but we really enjoyed the Plaseum. What a great week of camp!
Next week’s theme is “Discover Nature”. Looking forward to the upcoming week!

The painted lots of pictures on paper and on the tables which they had to clean afterwards. They played at the sand box and built bridges and towers with the waffle blocks.
The Toddlers had lots of enjoyable moments of camp this week. Water play is very exciting for the little ones especially when they can run in and out of the sprinklers. Water Play days are Monday and Wednesdays.
They also baked chocolate fudge and did lots of practical life work like cutting cucumbers and juicing oranges.
It was an exciting time at camp this week and hope to have lots more fun next week.
6/28/2013 - RAINBOWS
Bunk ButterflyThe first week of Camp started with a splash as the older kids in Bunk Butterfly went to the pool on Monday and had an amazing time in the water. On Tuesday they had their first soccer and skating lessons. There was clear improvement by all the kids as the lessons wore on.
The theme of the week, rainbows, played a significant role throughout many of the activities. In art, the kids made rainbows out of paper plates and cotton balls and they also made rainbow sand art projects. In baking, the kids enjoyed making and eating rainbow cupcakes. Finally, to end off the week, the kids had a great time on the trip to the Corcoran and were able to look at art and then create their own in the workshop. What a great week of camp! Next weeks theme is Independence Day. There is no camp on Thursday, which is July 4th. Looking forward to the upcoming week! See below for pictures and the rainbow song we learned this week.
Have a great Shabbat,
Saadia, Eliana, & Abby
We are so happy to have your children this week. We have had a fun filled week with many activities going on. We started the week with singing welcome songs and making a welcome banner. The children painted it with rainbow colored paints and lots of colorful appliques. We talked about the colors of the rainbow and learned a rainbow song. The little caterpillars made paper plate rainbows in art and rainbow cupcakes in baking. What fun!
The children did a lot of water-play inside and outside. Inside the children pretended to go fishing and wash dishes in our water-table. Outside, the children played in our new swimming pool and rainbow sprinkler (which will also be in use even when its not rainbow week=). They also played with our indoor sandbox. The little caterpillars loved the sand toys and the feel of the sand. They really enjoyed that.
We ended the week with a Shabbat party filled with Shabbat songs and foods plus yummy ice cream. We are looking forward to another fun filled week. Look below to see pictures of the children and the words to our rainbow song we learned.
