We hope everyone is having a good start to the school year!  For those of you who are new to the school, and as a reminder for returning parents, our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) gives parents an opportunity to be involved in the school and make a tremendous difference in our children's lives.  We ask parents to volunteer to help plan fabulous events and fundraisers throughout the year, and we provide a great way for parents of our school to connect with one another.  We will have PTO meetings prior to the various events throughout the year.  You should have received a volunteer sign up sheet at Back to School night.  Please send it in to the main office ASAP so we know what you are interested in helping with. 
Also, each year we collect $60 from each family to cover the cost of Chanukah gifts and End of Year gifts for our teachers and to cover the cost of the End of Year Picnic on the last day of school.  Please make a check out to Alef Bet Montessori PTO, and give it to the staff member when you drop off your child in the morning. The staff member will make sure the check gets to the office. Thank you so much for your support!
Also please be sure to send in your form and check for weekly challah and flowers for shabbat.

The Parent Committee is open to any Alef Bet Montessori parent. Its purpose is to help organize social and fund-raising events for the school as well as being a source of communication between the parents and the school. Being a member is a great way to support your child's school in various classroom and outside activities. Please join us and help make this school year a great one!
